I joined Red Hat as a software engineer in April 2010. I'm currently working on internationalization technologies for GNU/Linux desktop, including virtual keyboard and input method. Previously I had worked for AIST for 6+ years as a researcher, where I studied free software activities in Japan. I received my Ph.D. degree in CS from Waseda University in 2004, where I studied ubiquitous computing and embedded systems.

My interests include:

  • Free software
  • Internationalization
  • Security protocols
  • Embedded systems
